Spells to control fire have genuinely grown in popularity of late, but perhaps in part for the faulty reasons. Maybe persons are forgetting the childhood saying of 'don't play with fire'! Fire is beguiling because of it is allure, it is beauty and it is unstoppable power. It brings the cosiness of a log fire, the romance of candlelight through to the destruction of a raging fire out of control. So while I'm sure it doesn't need to be said, do not forget that fire is one of the 5 elementary powers of the universe and ought to be valued and honoured as such. All good spells to control fire will have safety and moderation at heart.

However, Wicca and witchcraft do arouse the power of the natural parts of the universe steadily so in this sense using spells to control fire is adequate for the purpose as portion of your spell work as long as you stay within sure boundaries. Say:

'May the essence of the strength of fire return to it is core.

This will not take long but will show your acknowledgement of fire as an necessary factor and that you value it is contribution to the universe. Similarly, you are not invoking it is power to cause injure and harm and respectfully ask that it is held at a distance.
