Designer Abayas Combine Tradition with Sophistication

While traditionally abayas are long, robe-like dresses worn by Muslim women, a new trend in architect abayas have just expanded the clientele for this typical item of clothing. An abaya is normally black in color and covers the entire body, leaving only the face, feet and hands visible. It is ordinarily combined with a niqab or face veil and now and then with long black gloves.

Designer Abayas: What's Different

The guidelines for dress laid down by Islamic law require modesty and all abayas serve the aim of covering a woman modestly. However, contemporary architect abayas are a far cry from the dull, typical traditionalisti style abayas. Let's look at numerous of these differences:

Fabric: While cotton and wool were perennially favourite fabrics in which abayas traditionally manifest themselves, modern-day abayas are made from light and flowing materials such as chiffon, georgette and crepe. Silhouettes, too, are altering with layered, twisted and knotted detailing being added to the plain lines of a established abaya.

Color: The established color for abayas is black. However, there subsist a range of abayas that do not follow this tradition. Beige, brown, grey, pink, sky blue, green, white, maroon, purple and even two-tone color compoundings are quickly altering the way the colors of abayas are perceived.

Decoration: Embroidery has become closely standard on innovative abayas. Done in single or multi-colored thread or gold thread, embroidery adds detail, sophistication and a touch of class to hitherto plain abayas. Top end designers even offer Swarovski crystals and lace embellishments. In fact, Swarovski has genuinely kept competitions and workshops in countries such as Abu Dhabi to increase the use of Swarovski parts in designing abayas.

Designer Abayas: Biggest Names in Fashion

Designer abayas are also attracting a great deal of of the greatest names in global fashion. Fashion designers are sitting up and taking detect of the large, predominantly urban market for eastern costume and are supplying conventional items of costume in these markets. Famous designers such as Dior's John Galliano have launched their line of architect abayas and local designers are also waking up to the design potential of abayas.

The best place to buy abayas is from a reputed online store such as EastEssence.com. Catering to those looking for a combining of variety, quality and style at unmatched prices, www.eastessence.com has over 10 years of experience in eastern wear and established clothing.

Threading your eyebrows in Islam for cleanliness?

ok i am muslim and i thread my eyebrows being bengali and bangladesh being a islamic country i see them always doing their eyebrows

in my case i have naturally bushy thick eyebrows ever since i was 13 and that when i started doing my eyebrows for cleanliness i am 16 now and i do my eyebrows to heighten my natural ones is that okay please warrant i recognise it is in hadith in regards to plucking your eyebrows but i thread mine by an islamic bengali woman!!! i do not grasp please help

salam alaykum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuh,
Selina,
that's forbidden, and we shouldn't look to how a heap of persons do something in order to know if it is ok or not, we must see the rulings in holy Quran and Sunnah, may Allah bless you :)
the prophet (pbuh) cursed the one who does namas (plucking) and the one who asks for it to be done.

be sure my dear, that all the pleasure is in following the rulings of our religion, and you will actually feel beautiful...having thick eyebrows doesn't mean that you're not beautiful, see?
:)
