Is there any person in history who fits the description in this prophecy? Leaders who have disheveled hair who rush into Iran from the East. They will raise their banners and slay the living. They are of a "small and inferior" race. [by the way, I didn't write this, I'm just copying it from a source!] They will burn and destruct galore houses and property. They will extinguish the fire at Warharan (apparently a Zoroastrian fire temple?). There will be tyranny and misgovernment. The thing regarding disheveled hair is repeated many times and seems to be important to the author. By the way, it may be no one. I'm just attempting to figure out if it's possible that the prophecy was written by an individual who experienced leaders like this (and then wrote it as if it were an ancient prophecy) I don't know with regards to the disheveled hair part, but the rest of the description; "rush in from the East, slay the living, and being of a little and inferior race" reminds me of the Mongolians or perchance one of the other Steppe cultures. They were known for riding in fast and hard and killing everything that stood in their path. |
