Why Your Prayers Were Not Answered?Why Your Prayers Were Not Answered? The bible did say that asked and you shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you. If this is a statement then why does it not work each time we prayed for something? Surely God may not lie. Then why is this not true? This leads us to find the respective reasons why God do not answer our prayers. There are assorted reasons why God do not answer our prayer requests:
Here are the scriptures that help the above facts: John 14:15, "15"If you love me, you will obey what I command." Psalm 91: 14-17, "14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."" John 9:31, "31We recognise that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will." Isaiah 59:12, "For our offenses are galore in your sight, and our sins testify versus us. Our offenses are ever with us, and we know our iniquities:" Isaiah 59:2, "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have concealed his face from you, so that he will not hear." Ezekiel 14: 3- 5, "3 "Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I let them inquire of me at all? 4 Therefore speak to them and tell them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When any Israelite sets up idols in his heart and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face and then goes to a prophet, I the LORD will answer him myself in keeping with his outstanding idolatry. 5 I will do this to recapture the hearts of the persons of Israel, who have all deserted me for their idols.'" Psalm 101:6-7, "6My eyes will be on the faithful in the land that they may dwell with me; he whose walk is blameless will minister to me. 7 No one who exercises deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence." Psalm 109:17, "17 He loved to pronounce a curse— may it come on him; he found no pleasure in blessing— may it be far from him." Ephesians 4:29, " 29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may gain those who listen." Exodus 33:17, " 17 And the LORD said to Moses, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name."" Ephesians 5:3-4, "3But amidst you there ought to not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.4Nor must there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving" 1 Samuel 15:23, "For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king."" John 15:7-8, "7If you stay in me and my words stay in you, ask whatsoever you wish, and it will be given you. 8This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." James 4:1, "1What causes fights and quarrels amid you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you? 2You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. 3When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with defective motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." The entire reason of coming to Christ and receiving our salvation is so we may be at peace with God. Being at peace means we have to agree to live by his commandments and statutes, since God instituted them for our own good. Only by living that life may we be delighting to God. He gave us sure ways to live with each other as he in the first place intended creation to live by. So did Jesus who passed away on the cross remove all these things which God said we are to do? I don’t think so he came to fulfill it. So that now we who call upon him will have this overcoming life, the gift of the Holy Spirit to aid us when we fall short. When the Holy Spirit is upon you and lives in you, you will get started to change. God will give you a new spirit and a new heart, and you will become a dissimilar person. You will be transformed day by day into the effigy of a son of God. Ephesians 1:13,"13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit," Ezekiel 11:19, "I will give them an unseparated heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." When you get baptized in water, there will be no prompt change not a single power exists. That’s the truth, altho with Jesus he was without delay given the Holy Spirit, but for a normal person this is not true. Some humans take days to get the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and some take years while others that don’t bear fruit falls away. He told the persons to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus." 5On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. 6When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. 7There were when it comes to twelve men in all." John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. Only Jesus is the baptizer of the Holy Spirit and Paul is the one who may command such blessings. When you get baptized in water as in John’s baptism, there still remains the most primary baptism which is baptism in the Holy Spirit and that Jesus is the one who baptized with fire and likewise his approved apostle may do this. When we say you are born again, it means you are baptized in the Holy Spirit by Jesus himself. So when you come to God make sure you came in by the front door and not the window for a good deal of will make you think you have the Holy Spirit and that is not true. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a real tangible event and you will recognise that you know it’s a real baptism. Some will feel a warm sensation, others will feel a rush of energy and some feel joy, and some feel a release from bondage whatsoever that is it’s real. Its may not be counterfeited nor said unto you that you have it, it will manifest itself to you by Jesus himself not man. One of the signs is speaking in tongues, but not all tongues are real. Also speaking in tongues is not the only sign, but there are other signs as well. Don’t assume that every one is baptized in the Holy Spirit, if this was true, why are there still so much disagreement in the Christian faith? How may the Holy Spirit contradict itself, it is impossible, so there are some untrue Christians masquerading as Christians, we call them wolves in sheep skin. So get the firstborn thing basi and worry later with regards to why God has not answered your prayers. If you are not one of his sheep, how is he to answer your prayers since you are none of his. Do you suppose other people’s father to take care of you when you are not their children? Surely not. Even if we may not receive that speaking in tongues is one of the sign of having the Holy Spirit, we may choose another sign. Jesus said, "My Sheep Hear My Voice" if you may not listen the voice of God, then you may not be his sheep, even if you assert you are a Christian. That does not mean a thing, it is Jesus who ought to receive you as his persons or sheep. Jesus is the one who will determine whether you are his sheep or not and no one else may do that. John 8:47, "47He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not listen is that you do not belong to God."" John 10:1-5, 7, "1"I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by galore other way, is a thief and a robber. 2The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. 3The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4When he has brought out all his own, he goes on in front of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice." 7Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep." My sheep hears my voice, so if you may not listen the voice of God as in his still quiet voice not inevitably audible but with your spirit, then you are none of his. These are sober words and time is short, so please assure you are genuinely his sheep. For this issue, you have to find out amongst God and yourself, don’t let anybody tell you what they think, God is capable of answering this question for you directly. So, make doubly sure you are one of his sheep and you must be capable to listen his voice. I have a holy prayer that I'd like you to pray with me? Dear God, I pray to you now. I pray that you would end fighting in the world; I do not want the world to suffer. I pray that you would take away the suffering, by ending the fighting. For it is the fighting that is causing the suffering. Please, Lord, I know you hate fighting, but you love the world.
