Is sacred heart tatt too religious? Im intrigued by the sacred heart symbol (generally a love heart with flames coming out the top), and would love to get it tattooed on my wrist/foot. I do not want it for religious reasons but worry that it may come all over as that way? How would you view it? I would assume it was for religious reasons if I saw it, because that is in general what most persons use it for. Like if I saw a cross on an individual I would assume it was for religious reasons as well. One of the pretty things I know the sacred heart stands for is passion and if you want to say you got it to represent your passion then I would get it... Get whatsoever you want on your tattoo, but a heap of persons will assume it's religious, I bet. You will probably hear" oh I am a Catholic, too!" from time to time, and if you want to explain that you just liked the symbol a lot of a$$ho!&S out there that might get offended, but if you love your tattoo you will be more than willing to recompense the price of occasional annoyances. I love the sacred heart and I think it will be a finelooking tattoo , whatsoever your reason. |
