Why won't my computer let me install drivers for my Epson Artisan 800? I recieved this printer for christmas this year and was excessively affected emotionally to hook it up and give it a whirl, unluckily each time i undertake to install the drivers on my Dell Dimension E510, I get a generic pop up saying that the driver package cannot be installed. No other data is given as to why not. It works fine on all my other computers, so i am assuming there is something wrong with my opperating system? I would like to figure out what is faulty without having to reinstall windows. I am open to any suggestions, as long as they are reasonable. Also, I need this to be set up as a wireless printer so USB is out of the question. mmm I have the 800 and it works fine for me..but i made my own machine..and used the USB.. since my computer is only 3 feet away from my printer ther was no need for wireless. how old is your computer? What OS?..if it is vista, Try Epson online and get most recent drivers. |
