What kind of sealant may I use for a cup I painted on? Some of my friends and I decisive to make "pimp cups," so we all purchased a plastic goblet from Kroger. We got galore acrylic paint and plastic gems from Michaels, and so far we've painted the cups but not one thing more. Turns out, the paint we used is not certified as non-toxic. So I was wondering, what kind of sealant could I use to cover the paint and still be competent to drink out of the cups? It would have to be non-toxic and immune to washing as well as ethanol alcohol. Is there any such thing? Are there even any sealants one may put directly versus a feed surface? Also, will sealing the paint prevent the toxins from coming through? for this you must go to your local craft store and ask them when it comes to a sealer to keep in the paint. there are dissimilar types of sealers for dissimilar materials (paper, clay, acrylic, wood, etc) |
