The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran (16)

This is the 16th article of the series:" The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran". 

The Bible affirms the Faith in the Son of God by saying who is overcoming the world? It is only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.  The Noble Quran says that it is an unforgivable sin when you say or believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or sons; this major sin will lead to the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter.

The Sons of the Lord God in the Bible (16)

 

The Bible (1 John 5:1-5) says that everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and every one who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for every one born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has get over the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? It is only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

The Sons of the Lord God in the Quran (16)

 

The Noble Quran makes the topic of the sons of God very clear and says that Allah, the Almighty Creator, has neither a son nor a partner.

In addition, The Quran makes the signs that Jesus was not god very understandable.

The Quran says that Allah will say unto Jesus at the Resurrection in rebuke of his followers: ‘O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to mankind in the life of this world, “Take me and my mother as gods, besides Allah”?’

Jesus will say unto Allah: ‘Glory be to You!, exalted be You above all that does not befit You, such as having a collaborator and so on. It is not mine; it is unjustified for me, to say what I have no right to.

It is not befitting for the Majesty of Allah to take to Himself a son.

Allah is exalted, magnified; He is above what they associate with Him of son or partners.  Allah is far transcendent above all that they impute unto Him!

In Islam, this point is very indispensable faith wise.

  1. Again, it is unforgivable sin to say or to believe that the One Almighty Creator [who is Allah or God or the Lord or Jehovah or whatsoever name(s) you are giving Him] has a son or Sons.

From the Islamic point of view, the conclusion of this rudimentary topic that may establish or ruin the faith is that:

Any one who believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or Sons; he messes up his faith and is considered as a disbeliever and in the afterlife he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the Eternal Hell.

Any one who believes that the Almighty Creator has no son or partner, he has a good faith and is considered as a believer; and in the afterlife, he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the Eternal Paradise. 

Verses 5:116-119 make the topic of the son(s) of God plain, clear and understandable.

The significances of verse 5:116

And, mention when God will say, to Jesus at the Resurrection in rebuke of his followers: ‘O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to mankind in the life of this world, “Take me and my mother as gods, besides Allah”?’

He, Jesus, says, shuddering: ‘Glory be to You!, exalted be You above all that does not befit You, such as having a collaborator and/or a son. It is not mine who said that, it is unjustified for me, to say what I have no right to.

You know what I have conveyed to them of commands and prohibitions.

If I in truth had said it to them, You would have known it. You recognise what is, concealed by me, in my self, but I do not recognise what is within Your Self, that is, what You keep concealed of Your knowledge.

  1. You recognise what is in my self, altho I do not know what is in Your Self; You are the Knower of things unseen. You are the Knower things concealed from the servants; and no one may have psychological result of perception learning and reasoning of it besides You.

 

The significances of verse 5:117

(Jesus continues) I only said to them in the life of this world only that which You commanded me, to say, and that is: “Worship Allah, announce Allah's divine Oneness and obey Him; He is my Lord and yours.”

And I was a witness, a watcher, over them, preventing them from saying what they used to say by conveying your message whilst I dwelt among them; but when You took me, when You raised me up to the heaven, You were Yourself the Watcher over them, You were the Protector and Witness of them, the Observer of their deeds, and You Yourself are Witness over all things, Aware and knowing them, including what I said to them and what they said after me, and whatsoever else.

 

The significances of verse 5:118

(Jesus continues) If you chastise them, that is, those among them who are fixed upon disbelief, verily they are Your slaves, and You are their Master, disposing of them as You will: there may be no objection to what You do; and if You pardon them, lo! they are Your slaves. You, only You, are the Mighty in His affair and the Wise in His actions.

 

The significations of verse 5:119

  1. This is a day in which their truthfulness profited the Truthful, and their faith the believers and their conveyance the conveyors of messages and their dedication the truehearted people; for theirs are Gardens under which, underneath it is trees and couches, rivers of water, milk, wine and honey which flow wherein they are secure and they shall abide forever; in such Paradise they dwell, never to die or be got rid of from it.

Allah is well-pleased with them, because of their faith, works and obeisance to Him, and they are well-pleased with Him, because of His reward and the honor bestowed upon them.  That which I have noted of eternity and pleasure is the outstanding triumph; the extreme safety: they earned Paradise and were saved from the torment of hell.   The sincerity of those who were liars in this world shall not avail them on that Day, just as it shall not avail the disbelievers when they (will) believe upon seeing the chastisement.

Verse 5:116

 

QARIB: and when Allah said: '( prophet) Jesus, son of Mary, did you ever say to the people: "take me and my mother for two gods, other than Allah?" 'exaltations to you, ' he said, 'how could i say that to which i have no right? if i had said that, you would have surely known. you recognise what is in my self, but i do not know what is in yours. indeed, you are the welleducated of the unseen.

SHAKIR: and when Allah will say: o isa son of marium! did you say to men, take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah he will say: glory be to thee, it did not befit me that i will have to say what i had no right to (say); if i had said it, thou wouldst in truth have known it; thou knowest what is in my mind, and i do not recognise what is in thy mind, surely thou art the great knower of the unseen things

PICKTHAL: and when Allah saith: o Jesus, son of Mary! didst thou say unto mankind: take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah? he saith: be glorified! it was not mine to utter that to which i had no right. if i used to say it, then thou knewest it. thou knowest what is in my mind, and i recognise not what is in thy mind. lo! thou, only thou, art the knower of things hidden?

YUSUFALI: and behold! Allah will say: "o Jesus the son of marry! didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in disparagement of Allah'?" he will say: "glory to thee! never could i say what i had no right (to say). had i said such a thing, thou wouldst without doubt have known it. thou knowest what is in my heart, thou i know not what is in thine. for thou knowest in full all that is hidden.

 

Verse 5:117

 

QARIB: i spoke to them of not one thing except that which you ordered me, that you worship Allah, my lord and our lord. i witnessed them whilst living in their midst and ever since you took me to you, you have been the watcher over them. you are the witness of everything.

SHAKIR: i did not say to them aught save what thou didst enjoin me with: that serve Allah, my lord and your lord, and i was a witness of them so long as i was amidst them, but when thou didst cause me to die, thou wert the watcher over them, and thou art witness of all things

PICKTHAL: i spake unto them only that which thou commandedst me, (saying): worship Allah, my lord and your lord. i was a witness of them while i dwelt amid them, and when thou tookest me thou wast the watcher over them. thou art witness over all things.

YUSUFALI: "never said i to them aught except what thou didst command me to say, to wit, 'worship Allah, my lord and your lord'; and i was a witness over them whilst i dwelt among them; when thou didst take me up thou wast the watcher over them, and thou art a witness to all things.

 

Verse 5:118

 

QARIB: if you inflict punishment on them (for their disbelief), they surely are your subjects; and if you pardon them, surely you are the almighty, the wise. '

 shouldst pardon them, then surely thou art the mighty, the wise

PICKTHAL: if thou penalize them, lo! they are thy slaves, and if thou pardon them (lo! they are thy slaves). lo! thou, only thou, art the mighty, the wise.

YUSUFALI: "if thou dost impose a penalty on them, they are thy servant: if thou dost pardon them, thou art the exalted in power, the wise."

 

Verse 5:119

 

QARIB: Allah will say: 'this is the day the truthful shall gain by their truthfulness. they shall live for ever in gardens underneath which rivers flow. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with him. that is the outstanding winning. '

SHAKIR: Allah will say: this is the day when their truth shall gain the truthful ones; they shall have gardens under which rivers flow to abide in them for ever: Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Allah; this is the mighty achievement

PICKTHAL: Allah saith: this is a day in which their truthfulness profiteth the truthful, for theirs are gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they are secure for ever, Allah taking pleasure in them and they in him. that is the outstanding triumph.

YUSUFALI: Allah will say: "this is a day on which the truthful will earnings from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: that is the great salvation, (the feeling of satisfaction of all desires).

How must nonmuslims be treated according to the words of the Quran?

I am thinking that this verse makes a very good case. Why have the extremists ignored this? Am I the only one to catch this? People like to say that Islam says to kill humans who do not convert to Islam. So why does this verse in the Quran say to distinguish in war, and to not care if they are muslim or not? What do you think? It says to leave those alone who are not fighting. Those who offer you peace and don't fight are to be left alone.

What is your opinion?

[004:094] O ye who believe! When ye go forth (to fight) in the way of Allah, be careful to discriminate, and say not unto one who offereth you peace: "Thou art not a believer," seeking the chance profits of this life (so that ye may despoil him). With Allah are plenteous spoils. Even thence (as he now is) were ye before; but Allah hath since then been gracious unto you. Therefore take care to discriminate. Allah is ever Informed of what ye do.

To be treated as your brothers and sister and give them the same respect. By the way do you even know that all the souls are born as muslims..but it is the path of faith that take them to a dissimilar destiny. Being born in a non-muslim family doesn't mean they are guilty, rather it is an honor given to them to find their way back to Allah.

Most of the Extremist don't read the Quran or perceive the Quran's Inner Meaning. Its the molla's who are corrupted and corrupts this poor souls in to doing the dirtiest works. Islam did don't say kill anybody who is muslim, rather invite him to see the beauty of this religion that is Islam. One must not go and kill a innocent bystander just because they are standing on your land. Take for Palestine...why may the Palestinians say let us portion the land amongst us brothers and sisters, a land that is so holy for all of us. Why do my muslim brothers not think for once that the non-muslim we hate so much are alose developed by our Allah. When you hate a non-muslim does it not mean you hate the creation of Allah, have you ever thought of it. Have you thought that it is Allah who is taking the test by putting them into a dissimilar faith and waiting for them to come back. Why may we not support our non-muslims brothers and sisters and show them the way to Allah. Its is our holy responsibility to guide them to the true path rather then getting into war. Yes the path possibly dangerous but the rewards are great. Oh by the way how a great deal of of you know that the most and the most eminent honorary Jihad is to fight with oneself, to fight with the Evil that is within us. I take my leave asking this question.
