I agree. Many Protestants ignore - this is not an insult, I'm Protestant, but I just want to say - many of them are ignorant of what really teach Catholic doctrine. Most of them grew up with preconceived ideas about Catholicism that have received from people who had the same preconceived ideas ... for several generations. I believe that Protestants are uncomfortable with the term "Mother of God" because of their lack of familiarity from the veneration "of Mary" doctrine. Sometimes confused with "love" Mary, when it is not really what it is. But people who run DIS are probably thinking it's only Mary gives too much credit and puts it on a level comparable to that of God.
